Nadat het zuiden van Nederland inmiddels onderworpen is aan de ingevoerde wietpas, die het onmogelijk maakt voor buitenlanders om wiet te kopen in Nederlandse coffeeshops, is ook Amsterdam aan de beurt. Ook nu het kabinet gevallen is.
Dit heeft demissionair minister Ivo Opstelten (VVD) van Veiligheid en Justitie laten weten in een interview met NU.nl. Volgend jaar moet ook Amsterdam ‘aan de wietpas’.
‘Dit beleid gaat gewoon door. De rechter heeft het goedgekeurd en er is een meerderheid in de Kamer. We beginnen in het zuiden en rukken daarna op naar het noorden. Dit geldt ook voor Amsterdam,’ aldus Opstelten.
Zelf zal de demissionair minister geen wietpas nemen. ‘Ik heb nog nooit geblowd, dus ik heb ook geen neiging om lid te worden van een coffeeshop.’

It seems to me that the Dutch goverment has lost its ways and is too much concerned about what the world wants.. the restrictions that I am reading about such as “no drinks out side”, early closing times for clubs, “wietpas”, seems to me is about pleasing the world and being accepted.. These restrcitions are the same in the US, except for the “wietpas” as smoking “wiet” is ileagal in the US.. Its hard to be the goverment and please not only the ppl of the country but also the ppl Internationaly..
I hope The NETHERLANDS stays the progressive country that I have known and leads the world to true freedom..
